Flight of the hummingbird

This is a 60cm x 60cm original painting on a box canvas.  I wanted to capture life, flight, joy and freedom while using vibrant, joyful colours. The background goes from warm green, through turquoise into deep violet blue.  The little hummingbird is caught in a radiance of colours
